About Me
|
My name is Kaitlyn Kane, I am a student in the Bachelor of child development degree program at Seneca College. I also work as an Early Childhood Educator in a childcare centre. I am currently studying environmental design, in order to complete the course we are required to create a blog about outdoor learning environments for children. I've decided to base my the main focus of my blog around outdoor classrooms. If you have any questions please feel free to send me an email and i'd be glad to answer your questions.

Outdoor classrooms can include all learning domains that are fun and intriguing for children to explore and expand their learning. Outdoor learning is an important aspect to children s learning, it gives children whom are very energetic a chance to be active and learn at the same time. There are many ways to create an outdoor classroom. Classrooms can be created using all natural materials found outdoors, or bringing materials from indoor classrooms outdoors. This blog mainly focuses on how educators can create outdoor classrooms using materials transferred from typical indoor classrooms.
